How to lose 5-10 pounds for track and field?

Im doing track and field this year and im in shape but I am a little heavier than I want to be how do I get in shape in 1-2 weeks?

Well I’m sure you’ll get whipped into shape in the first few weeks of track. if you wanna be ready for it ya gotta do some running, some core and leg strength.

Pre track work outs are the best?! Box jumps. 3 miles a day- distance. or 2 miles a day- sprint with 10 sprints at 60% (200m)

if you stick to this. The first practice will be easier and the pounds should fly off.
