How to I plan a community talent show?

I need help to plan a talent show for my community. how do I go about doing this? What should be on the program? should I only allow children to participate or should I include the adults too. what should the program consist of and when should I start givning out flyers?

Id call some local radio stations and ask them if they ever speak about local events. a lot do. that way you can get the word out. A pennysaver or newspaper is a good way too and of course posting signs in places a lot of people go like popular resturants and schools. Ask the owners of these places first of course. If its a community talent show you should include all ages :) Make it fun for everyone and it may help for a better turn out of people. Add some snacks in there and refreshments and add a small fee to get in and im sure you will get a decent amount of people to show up and particapte.
