Last week I bought a pair of EMU boots, which I was told are just like UGGs, they were the same price and everything. yesterday I wore my boots and I got caught in the rain, and unfortunitly it ended up pouring. so now the whole foot part of my boot is dyed a darker brown and you can tell its stained. I even let it dry out for over 24 hr and it still hasnt changed color.
How do I get the water stain to go away? Should I take it to the dry cleaners? (if so, does it work and how much does it cost?) or does anyone have any thing that worked for them? pleeease help!
Genesis 950 Concentrate also works. It works with water to get into the stain, break it's bond and dissolve it.
To remove stains from UGGs using Genesis 950 Concentrate:
I use it regularly to clean everything. It works great on carpet and fabric when mixed with warm water. I have used it for multiple stains. Originally I bought it from a garage type shop where they use it to break down oil and grease to clean their cement floors and rags as well as engines, transmissions and car interiors. I had spilled paint on my carpet when painting the walls and tried everything to clean it. Every product I used just smeared the paint into the carpet. By the time I got the 950 it was 6 months later. It pulled all the paint out of the carpet. I once shattered an entire bottle of A1 Steak Sauce in my living room. The 950 removed it from my carpet and furniture.
In addition, I have 2 cats and 2 dogs. I have used it to remove urine, vomit and lick marks. The stuff is really amazing and I think it would remove your stains.
I order it online at [link removed]
Mine get like that every time I wear them out in the snow (which is daily- they're my snow boots)... I find that if you get the whole boot damp with a wash cloth and scrub a bit to raise the texture, then you can't really tell the difference. It helps, but it isn't a 100% fix.
I would try to put baby powder on them and then brush, It has been 3 years ago, since you posted this, but, in the future... do not put the powdr on WET boots, allow to dry... then powder, and brush> worked for me.♥
