How to get rid of nits
You should use a LICE SHAMPOO and get a nit-comb. It'll take an hour or so even for shortish hair, but that's the BEST way. Also, you're going to have to bag up stuffed animals (couch pillows too) for (if I remember...) two weeks, wash all bedding and clothes in HOT water, twice, then dry them at the highest heat possible without destroying them. Some stores have a powder you put on your carpeting then you vacuum it up. Also, make sure to vacuum the crap out of your couch cushions- remove the cover and wash them if you can. The little bastards get EVERYWHERE. We babysat for twin 4 year old girls for one weekend who were utterly INFESTED with the things. It took us four hours to nit comb their heads, and two weeks after we were still cleaning like mad to make sure the bugs/eggs were gone.
nits hate conditioner, so make sure you put conditioner all over your hair when washing it, and nit-comb your hair. but until your shur you havent gt any there dont put your head near anyone elses.
jumping jacks in the morning and bee's wax in the afternoon...
Pick them out one by one.
