How to get over a ex

I need help with getting over my ex…I still love him…but he has a new girlfriend, and isnt being a dad for our daughter…I need advice on how to get over him…

I honestly feel like he was “the one”, we broke up in may, and hes still the only one I can picture myself with, I havnt even felt a hint of a crush on neone…

I obviously cant get him back, and he plays me, and treats me bad, and isnt a dad for our daughter…

So I need to get over him…help please!

Stop pretending he was the one for you. We can often fool ourselves into believing we loved someone because of the time we spent with them, or experiences we had with them. He treated you bad, doesnt care about your child, and has already moved on. This is not a quality guy you should be in love with. Remind yourself of how you felt when he treated you bad, and remind yourself there are guys that will not treat you that way and will respect you. Remember that guys treat us the way we allow them to treat us! Give it time, and engross all of your attention and love into your baby- you will build a stronger bond, and also not think about him as much. Stay busy- it shouldnt be hard to do with a new baby. ; )

Answer #2

The only thing that will make you get over him is time. Really, that is the only thing you can do, is wait, and move on! If he treats you bad/plays you and isn’t being a father to your daughter, I’d imagine he is not the one for you. The person that you are destined to be with is one that treats you right, and would even raise your child. (Assuming she’s under eighteen)

GOOD LUCK! Emily
