Becoming friends is pretty simple. Just talk to her (if she isn’t an uptight slag) and soon she will see you as a friend. Just remember: when you are in the ‘friend zone’ you won’t have any luck with them elsewhere.

Imo, this is only going to get you treated as a welcome mat. You will be stepped on because if you don’t make your intentions clear, people in general (not only women) will abuse your friendship to their benefit and your detriment. Just go up to her, ask her for her number and if she gives any indication that she is NOT interested, move on and save yourself time worrying. Odds are you could be missing someone better while you pine over this ‘lost cause’.
