How to fight small town boredom?

I’m wondering, how do many people combat small town boredom in effective ways? Luckily, I live in a city, but I’m curious anyway in case fate brings me to a small town. Isn’t conformity more expected I them?

Answer #1

Umm well I live in a city with a population of…1,960. Yeah its small. I read a lot, me and my friends hang out at the park a lot and we all go to football games and basketball games and stuff to cause trouble. I’m in Student Counsel, on the Math Team, Scholar Bowl, I’m in the school play…so that keeps me pretty busy from 6 in the morning to about 6:30 at night. It’s actaully really fun living in a small town (except we dont have a mall) because our school goes on really awesome trips most schools dont get to because we dont have anything here >.<

The thing about those ‘’really awesome trips’’ you get to go on when you live in small towns? People in cities call those trips ‘’going outside.’’ :)

Answer #3

I read a lot, played an enormous amount of video games, and moved to a city as soon as I would out of college. I did my fair share of hanging out at the mall, too.
