how to change dogs microchip info?
I had a question about my pitbull puppy I bought her from a good friend of mine. My friend adopted her from the indianapolis humane society and so they inserted her info on the pups microchip, but now she belongs to me and I live in georgia and I want to change her microchip info how would I do it and will there be a fee? please help me out with this question there has been attempts to steal my dog but lukily I been able to stop it and I know they will be back so I want to secure my pet IF YOU OWN AND LOVE A PET YOU KNOW WHAT THIS FEEWLING OF INSECURITY FEELS LIKE PLEASE HELP!!!

It is actually very easy. Is the chip Homeagain or Avid? Either way you can go online and get the number and call them. Give the company your information. The company will than contact the HS and make sure there was a transfer and that the information is to be changed over.
If HS gave you the MicroChip information just call the company and tell them the situation and it is the same as above. Home Again or Avid or whatever chip it is will contact the previous owners and make sure there was a transfer and if there was the company will transfer the information. There is a small fee but it will active the chip for you and protect your dog.
