How to break it to my mom that I got an F?

I’ve always been a good student,u know,straight A’s.But this year,I havent been able to cope with Geography.I got an F,the first ever F in my entire life.Its a blow.How do I tell my mom so that she takes this calmly?Usually,she’s like a hurricane when it comes to studies.I would be scared as she does hit-physically.Not very hard,but I would love to avoid a beating.How do I tell her about the F???:(Please help,Im in a dilemma!!

like johnathan said it was your first F ever so she can’t be to mad and tell her that you are having trouble with geography.. so she knows you are trying… and also that you are going to get help so you can get the grade back up.. and that she shouldn’t worry

Tell her that this was your first time and that the paper was difficult.Since It was the first time,You might get away with it.If that does not work then assure her that you’ll work more harder next time.
