How soon can I highlight my hair after I dye it?
I want to dye my hair a darker shade of brown with store bought dye. I also want to highlight it myself with a shade of red…with store bought dye as well. I dont have the money to spend at a salon to get it done so I wanna do it myself because im in need of a change. will it mess up the colours if I dye my head one colour and then highlight it with another on the same day?
it wont work. You would have to get the sections which you wanted to die red and put the red on them and then wrap them with foils. then cover the rest of your head with the brown. if you put the brown on the red wont lift over the top. and if you put the red on frist the brown will just make it dark Obviously lol. so you would have to try and do it at the same time. see if one of your friends will help you to put the colours onto your hair its a bit tricky!
