How should I feel about this?

Well, its kinda long but, here it goes. I was going out with my first love for 16 months. I was also his “first love”. Well he broke up with me. But what is getting to me is this, the same day he broke up with me he told me he noticed I had gained weight. (somthing I was already self conscience about) and well he told me he broke up with me was because he wanted to be single, but he is “considering” going back out with me in high school but for now he just wants to be “free”. Well than yesterday he told me (during a little conversation) that he wanted to be able to talk and look at other girls with no problems. Than today he told me he wanted to expirence things with other girls as well. Well like what I want to know is since I was his first makout and everything, is it true that he just wants to do that, or is it that I just wasn’t good enough for him? Because that’s kinda what he’s making me feel like now…but how should I take this? I don’t know if ill be able to get over it because it did do a lot of emotional damage to me..what should I do? Please help..thanks.
