How old were you when you got your tongue pierced?
Ok im 15 I’ll be 16 in a few months and I really want my tongue pierced I already have a bunch of other piercings but my mom wont let me get my tongue done so I want to show her that lots of people have got their tongues pierced at my age and that its not totally terrible for your teeth.so any information you have would be useful
I was actually 15 when I got mine done. It didn’t hurt like everyone says it does. Honestly, I think my cartilage piercing (ear) hurt more than the tongue. If you’re worried about it messing up your teeth, get the plastic tongue bars after it’s healed. I’m 20 now, and still have it in. It’s never given me any problems at all. The only trouble I had was the first few days I had it done.. it swelled up like a balloon.. lol. But if your mom doesn’t want you to get it done yet, you really should respect her decision. I don’t regret mine, though. As long as you keep it clean, you won’t have anything to worry about.
I was 16 the first time I got it done. took it out after a while. next time I got it done I was 18 but got two tongue rings at the same time. it only hurts for a week. use mouth wash then you wont get any infections
im sixteen and the only thing I got pierced is my belly button…and it took a lot of begging to get that done…im getting a tattoo though:) parents and their logic will never make any since to me
It hurts like hell and tongue piercings often get infected. You’re mom is right on this one.
