How old is old enough?

Love has no age requirements, so why do so many people tell others they don’t know what love is, or they are to young?

Answer #1

well I believe that people especially adults feel that kids and teenagers are just starting out in life and just experimenting at that period of their lieves. But I personally feel that it depends on the individual and their maturity..bcos I got plenty of friends who I grew up with that got togher and are still together after like 5-6 years…so it depends also on the couple and their indepth understanding of each other..I mean you know when those big arguments come..and if their mature enough to over ride them..

Sorry! I wasnt speaking on age gapped relationships…I meant the actual feeling and emotion of LOVE!!!

Answer #4

Usually a young teen THINKS it is love, because thats what it feels like to them, but the truth is, young love (puupy love) is not the same as mature love! Thats why young love rarely lasts.

Answer #5

because they ARE too young.

a 14 year old and a 19 year old is not right. it doesn’t matter how much they “love” eachother. being 5 years apart in age is no big deal but when it comes to a 14 year old child and a 19 year old adult it’s wrong. if they were both ADULTS and 5 years apart then go ahead be happy..

but it’s not okay when a child gets involved with an adult.

Answer #6

I think they should wait untill they ae both over 18 so they don’t get into trouble

Answer #7

Tinatodder is 100% right about that. Adults shouldn’t be dating kids.
