How long do rabbits live?

It’s around 6-8 years. But you were pretty close! My rabbits only about 3 right now, and this si the first I’ve ever had, but lets hopr he lives for 20 years like that guys aunt did! lol :-)

Wilhelm the Silent, Prince of Orange, “Willy” for short, was the Dutch Pied Rabbit who was a member of our family for six happy years. My little daughter used to carry Willy around in her arms, like a baby; he lived in his own bathroom, and would be taken out into the the liv rm daily for exercise and communal fun. At the end of 6 years he developed a tumor on the side of his body and died. We laid him in state in a shoebox at the head of the room and set up chairs and we all sat staring at Willy and remembering the years of a sweet relationship. As the spirit moved, each of us said a few words. Then the box was closed and left there till all left the room .. except me, the grim reaper, who disposed of the box. Willy could never be toilet trained, so he lived basically in a cage; and we did not mind cleaning up his occasional little pebbles when he was out and playing. PLEASE BE SURE YOU DO NOT CREATE A PRISON FOR YOUR LITTLE FRIEND.

it depends on the rabbit breed and how well u take care of it

most of the time, yes… but, my aunt had a rabbit that lived for for about 20years, but she lost the papers for it, so it didnt beat the world record… i guess it just depends on the care giver, and the giver?
