Go to Webmd.com http://www.webmd.com/ Do the Diet Assessment BMI Calculator halfway down the page, an interactive tool measures BMI body mass index; just plug in your height, current weight and goal weight, then click Get My BMI. Enter Age and Gender, then click Calculate and Continue. It analyzes and tells you where you fall and where goal falls, likeliness of achievement with amount of time.

heres the link for calculator alone: copy and paste if needed http://www.webmd.com/content/tools/1/calc_bmi.htm

Example: With 5’ 7” weight at 135 goal of 125=21.14 BMI is in ‘normal’ range (see below) goal is 19.58 BMI.

BMI Categories: Underweight BMI <18.5 Overweight BMI 25-29.9 Normal weight BMI 18.5-24.9 Obese BMI 30 or greater

Limitations of the BMI: The BMI measurement is a reliable indicator of your total body fat. The score you get is valid for most people over age 18 with the following exceptions: It may overestimate body fat in athletes and those people with a muscular build

It may underestimate body fat in older people and others who have lost muscle

Answer #5

This is a bmi calculator, http://www.revolutionhealth.com/calculators/body-mass-index-bmi/?msc=A62819 keep in mind that it is a very vague thing that doesnt take into account things like body structure, muscle mass etc, but it will give you a jumping off point…

Answer #6

I like my weight. I’m 54 and I’m 5’8” and weigh 115. If you just had a baby, you may still have extra weight, but it will go away soon. I think that if you’re 5’7”, anywhere from 110 to 130 is good. But, really, it’s how you feel about your weight that counts. Just eat healthy and exercize and hope for the best.

Answer #7

They say 118 - 159 is average weight for that height for a female. I am 5’7” and weigh 131. I was 118 once before and everyone told me I looked sickly. When I weight 143 I was told I was a bit chunky. I think at this height, I personally would like to range between 125 and 128. It depends on you and how confident you are in how you look, but to maintain a healthy weight would be within the above range.

Answer #8

for your height you should weigh between 130-164. If this is how much you weigh, you are at a healthy normal weight.

Answer #9

It depends for each person because we are all different. I was a former anorexic (yes guys can be) so I learned that BMI is not always that accurate. For instance, I have a friend who is 5’8 and weighs 200 pounds. According to his BMI chart he is overweight and obese. Yet he has a six pack and can run 100 meters in under 11 seconds a good time by most high school standards. His weight is heavier because he has built up his body. Every persons body is different and we all are of different builds and ancestries. Looking at you in your picture you look like a very pretty girl so in my opinion you don’t need to change a thing. Remember exercise is good for your heart and body but don’t over do it. If you live a healthy life style and look good and are good to your body you should be in beautiful shape just like you are now :)
