How many rings does saturn have?
Saturn does not has a clearly defined number of rings. Instead of a series of individual rings, it might be helpful instead to think of Saturn as sitting within the center of phonograph record (or A DVD, for the younger generations), and there are relatively few gaps. Scientists to divide this plate into 9 major sections, however, with each of those sections divided yet again into smaller subdivisions.
