How many animals are put 2 death a day to serve our fast food nation?

Any statistics? Thoughts and ideas on the matter? I used to work at McDonalds and get pretty grossed out just thinking about this…

OH and on an unrelated note… the new question asking system on FA is really unnessicary and annoying…

Answer #1

Amen. It might not have been posted in the proper place but your complaint was not worded in either a childish or immature manner.

Answer #2

The average American consumes in a 72-year lifetime approximately 11 cattle, 3 lambs and sheep, 23 hogs, 45 turkeys, 1,100 chickens and 862 pounds of fish.

And I agree about the new question posting system.

Answer #3

it dosent matter god put animals on this earth to eat not to look at

Answer #4

Why are you focusing on the US? Animals are killed for food all over the world, not just here. I also used to work at McDonalds, and their burgers are bloody delicious.

Regarding your second point: the question format for FunAdvice is not new at this point, but that aside, if you have complaints or suggestions for improving the site, posting a childish gripe about it at the end of your question is a very immature way to voice your opinion. Jeremy (aka thedude) is always willing to hear your thoughts on making the site better, and recently posted A HUGE BANNER ON THE SITE to let you know that.

Answer #5

Not enough.

Answer #6

@ mikeh

Answer #7
