How long wil it take for it to grow?

It is possible the hair, follicle/roots got ripped out. If so It may never grow back. I pulled out a bunch of hairs from my cowlick when I was like 9-10 I’m now 25 and I still have about a nickle sized bald spot..

I hate to say it, but it could take years. I know how important hair can be to us women. My hair is rather long and I’d hate to lose it because it’s taken so long for it to be the length it is now. What you could do is wait for it to grow out a little bit, perhaps a couple months, and then use clip in extensions to even it out.

Has the hair started growing at all? Hair grows about 15cm/6 inches a year.

If not, you might want to make a trip to the haidresser/doctor or anyone that might be able to advice you on whether the hair will ever grow back. It could be that permanent damage was inflicted.

Other than that, you can get yourself a folic acid supplement (available very cheap at your local pharmacy). This helps to get hair to grow and improves its condition.

you can try hair regrowth products but like stated above it may never grow back!

That would really takes longer if you are not taking vitamins for hair regrowing. I used Reloxe to regrow my hair and its also to cure for baldness. Maybe that helps.
