How long does hair take to grow?
I had to have my hair cut in october because it was sooo damaged from using heat on it, so I had my hair cut just above my shoulders. Now 4 months later its barely grown an inch! I just long for nice hair and I want hair like as long as possible. I have quite thick wavey hair. I dont want to take like pills to make my hair grow because I dont want to end up with a moustache or something!!

How much a person’s hair grows is based on genetics and yes as emmyt09 says on average hair grows 1/2 inch a month. My hair grows at an absurdly fast rate though about an inch or so a month, so really it varies person to person.
It can vary from person to person, but typically healthy hair will grow about 1/2 inch per month/6 inches per year.
I guess it just depends on who really. I cut my hair like almost a month ago an it’s already long to almost where it use to be. It just depends on the hair or something like that. Your just like my friends hair she wants to grow it out but it just dosent want to grow at all
