How should you feel after starting the Pill?

This morning I came on the pill for the first time, and everything’s starting to ache - like my joints, and I have a headache. I feel a bit sick too, is this normal for the first time you ever take it?

Well, anything abnormal for you should be told to your doctor. Everyone reacts differently. for me, I got sick every month around my period and literally could hardly eat one meal a day. I was told that that is normal. So, contact your doctor, but most likely he or she will just say that it is normal.

I suggest that you contact your doctor about this problem. Like with everything most pills have side effects, but depending how bad your symptoms become you might be switch to another different pill. It might be a reaction to those pills, but you are better off asking your doctor. If the symptoms persist, then they must be serious. We can’t play or ignore abnormality because they might become worst. Good luck!
