How can I stop wanting to be popular?

When my older brother was in high school he was really popular and went to parties and people just loved him. But now that I am in highschool I feel like thats what im obligated to do too. He always made me feel like I had to be popular or your not gonna enjoy highschool. and I look up to him. Like your suppose to be invited to parties and get drunk with random people but I just cant. Im not at the bottom of the food chain, actually im like 1 of the ones rite under the populars but still. Im always wondering what if I never get invited to parties and my brother thinks im a loser and then I always will rremeber high school as a horrible expirence. But I dont want to want to be popular. I wish I didnt care. I know that if it wasnt for my brother I wouldnt care cause I wouldnt know any better. I sooo wish it wouldnt bother me. I want to not care and jjust enjoy all the new friends I have made this year and appreciate them even if there not the most popular people in schhool. and I need like real advice. I dont want oh just not think about or sumthn like that like I want good advice cause I have no idea what I should do I really want to enjoy these four years. thxxx
