How to be engaged with him when I don't trust him?
I’m getting married to a guy I love a lot really soon. Thing is I’m constantly worried about him being faithful…and not losing interest in me, all the negatives you could possibly think of in a relationship and its driving me nuts. I think a lot and it makes me crazy. My worse fear is to be heartbroken I dont think I could emotionally take another bad heartbreak… I find myself on his x’s page a lot reading her blogs and everything that went on with them its his babies momma and it tears me apart when I read it… I dont know how to not worry about any of that but its like I have to know… My mind is driving me crazy and I’m not sure how to handle it anymore? Any suggestions? Please help.
Reading his ex’s page/blogs/whatever is only going to make this anxiety worse. It’s makes everyone unconfortable to imagine (or worse, fucking READ ABOUT) someone we love/are insecure about being with someone else.
It seems like you are particularly uncomfortable about it. What started this? Has he been unfaithful before? Is he acting as though he’s losing interest in you? You mentioned his ex is a baby mamma, is that causing any drama or stress over this engagement? Whatever caused these fears and anxiety that you have, need to be addressed. So do some soul searching, find out what it is this guy is doing to make you so scared over a heartbreak and talk it out. How can you have an enjoyable marriage if you’re already going crazy over this problem, while only engaged??
