Okay so I go a mile a day on the Tredmill at all different Speeds. Somtimes im even Sprinting! .. + I do a lot of walking in the day.. and im taking in about 1500carlioes, is this enough to loose weight? also. sometimes I go out on the bike why my mum rides her horse!! im about 5'5 and weight 200lbs .. 15stones..
L-O-S-E...lose weight. (not loose). Anyway...I lost 70 pounds by drastically cutting calories (800 per day) and exercising at the gym everyday for an hour or more.. On your treadmill, walk a bit then run a bit...alternating because you can burn more calories that way...it's called interval training. (google it). Also try riding your bike and lifting weights. If you build muscle, that helps to burn more calories too.
Normally the treadmills used these days will measure how much you've walked and how many calories you've lost. I'd say spend about 10-15 minutes a day, walk slow first, then speed up, but stay at jogging speed, than slowly decrease the speed. Be sure to go at a speed that's comfortable for you, though!
