How does a animal know when there is something wrong?

My boyfriend is in the hospital again and everytime he isn’t home my dogs start whineing?

Your dogs like him. Or. Your dogs sense that the dude’s special and if you’re distressed, they can sense that since your “mood/aura/whatever” is different. Dogs are actually very sensitive to things around them, be if a person, another animal, whatever.

The one thing they DO know…is your boyfriend isn’t there. They are also very sensitive to you, and how you are feeling about it. If you’re anxious, they can read that in your body language…and to dogs…”if mama is nervous, then there’s something to be nervous about”…so they get nervous too.

well is hard to explain but my guess will be the SIX SENSE they tent to predict things humans can see or feel, for a example this cat we had long time ago, back in 1985 was acting real strange, like trying to fine a place to hide or get out of the house, then a big earthquake in Mexico City was taking down lots of houses buildings and lives, so pay real close attention to your pets when they are trying to tell you something.
