Travel cross country with to cats how do they go to the bathroom? What do I need to have in the car?
The cats will need to be in a kennel, and I recommend you cover the holes in the side with a towel to prevent motion sickness. The last thing you want is for your cats to be laying in vomit and diarrhea.
Purchase yourself some disposable litter pans. Every few hours, stop and take your cats out of the kennel (you may need to have collars and leashes for them so they don't run off). Allow your cats to stretch their legs a bit, give them food, water, and give them time to use the litter pan - the disposable pans can then just be thrown into a garbage.
Traveling with cats can be stressful...if they aren't used to it, you may have to listen to them cry until they either fall asleep or just resign themselves to being caged.
If you absolutely have to take them then make sure you have litter boxs available, make sure you have plenty of water on hand and also food. make them feel comfortable with blankets or pillows and maybe a toy. they definately will meow a lot haha just be patient with them, theyll fall asleep. but its always better if you can check them into some sort of boarding center where they wont be so nervous.
The best way to travel, is to not take them, cats get very stressed very easy and will easyily get sick
Get earplugs. Haha. Your cat will be meowing all the way. Jk,jk, I agree with the person before me.
