How do you survive the holidays? They are upon us. Are you ready? Sometimes, for me, it is a lot of work and drama to deal with family...but, I try to keep the peace.
How about you?
I found a book (a bit old now) called 'Unplug the Christmas Machine'. It's very good in helping to sort out what you actually WANT from the holidays, instead of the way we tend to do what we think is EXPECTED of us.
It talks about how advertising, family, traditions etc can make us try to do too much, and how we can, instead, get back to basics with our family and friends, and simply do the things that will bring everyone pleasure instead of pressure!
You might find a copy before Christmas! If not, I reccomend you get it before next year - it certainly will help you to work out the answers in your own situation.
