How do you reupolster a seat?
Usually with a wooden chair, the upholstery will be tacked down or fixed with staples. Start by removing those and then pulling off the old upholstery from the chair, then measure it.
Cut the new fabric to match the dimensions of the old piece of fabric, and then reattach with a staple gun (that works really well, it's what my wife used to reupholster some dining room chairs a few years ago). Also, vinyl is a GREAT choice for fabric, as it's more stain repellent than cloth, good if you have kids.
