How do you pronounce these?

ok I’ve heard a lot of different ways of saying these and id like to know which is the pronunciation most commonly used for these:

youtube - is it yoo-choob or yoo-toob?

quileute - wth???

route - is it like root or raut?

often - is it offen or often?

vitae - as in curriculum vitae?

I say it the same as clawjaw it really does depend on where you come from and your accent although, I do find it annoying when people say route like raut :S sorry

I think it depends where your from… most say yah-hoo but I call it ya-hoo

youtube is yoo-choob

quileute I have no idea what this is but to me id pronounce it as quil-ett

route is root

often is off-tun

vitae is vi-tay

to me anyway ;) but im a common as muck brummie haha

yeah, probably changes with where you’re from because yellowcarnations’ answers are different :-) but I’ll keep both your answers in mind.

and umm, I have no idea what muck brummie is. LOL :-S

yoo toob, route is up to you lol some say root, some r(out)e, sounds like out, doubt, etc. in often the t is supposed to be silent, offen, some people pronounce the t but its not actually supposed to be said that way. I don’t know the others sry lol hope this helped though
