How do you make a marriage more fulfilling?

Dear heathershaw05, The first thing to realize is that this takes two. If you are the only one showing appreciation it will never work. A relationship takes work but if it takes too much work there is a problem. I’ve been married twice…and I can tell you that saying thank you and I appreciate you is a great way to show you care. For example I brought home some things that would have taken my husband out of his way to pick up. He quickly stated how much he appreciated me doing this and thanked me. We say thank you and your welcome always without fail. I send a note in his lunch pail everyday. I only miss if I am not there or am sick and still in bed. Never forget to hug and kiss as much as you can…upon every arrival and departure. These are only some of the things that I missed in my first marriage and realized how imprortant they are today.
