How do you know if you're in love?

I know I am… im pretty sure I am… im only 14 and ik a lot of people would say if I was really in love I wouldnt be asking this but what can it hurt, right? I’ve been dating my boyfriend for a month now but we’ve dated off and on for almost two years. the first time I broke up with him for a more popular guy which my friends told me I would be better with… I shouldnt have listened to them and soon after I realized that. then we got back together and things were a little awkward… I mean we were in middle school.. lol and then the biggest slut (pls excuse me for my language) kissed him and he dated her for a while. I was completely crushed but we stayed friends and I helped him out with his relationship even though it hurt me a ton, I just wanted him to be happy. then we got back together and I went to homecoming and soon after I broke up with him for no good reason at all and let my friends convince me once again into datin someone else… my boyfriend sent me sooo many text messages and emails and called me sooo many times and I ignored it… for about an hour.. then I broke down and knew I had to be with him. we together now, and I know this time it’s going to last. he’s my absolute best friend. and with everything happening, it brought us even closer and I can talk to him about anything and I love spending time with him and its amazing. and I mean just generally how do you know if you’re in love. dont even base you answer on this book I just wrote lol. thanks:)
