How do you keep a 1 year old distracted for shots?

My sister asked me if I could stay in the room for her tommorrow while my nephew gets shots because she doesent like to watch. So I was just wondering if anyone could tell me how can I keep him distracted while the doctor gives them to him?

Bring his favorite toy and make put it infront of his face making him look away from the shot And try to entertain him long enough so he won’t relize he got a shot

Talk to him about something else, or bring in a small toy or book. Make sure you stand on the opposite side of the arm he is getting the shot in, so that he’ll look at you instead of the needle. Good Luck! :)

Play around whit them and just keep her or him from looking away fromt the shot, meaby tell her if she wants candy or gum so she can be strong for the candy!
