How do you get your hair shiny and straight, like on TV?

Ok, so you know how on TV people always have straight, shiny, hair, all nice and in place? I know how they have pros helping them and stuff, but someone has to know how to do it! I straighten my hair, and it gets straight, but it’s still frizzy and out of place.

Trust me…they can add shine through photoshop. And plus, it takes hours for very special stylists to get it like that.

Start by using a sulfate-free shampoo, such as Giovanni, Say Yes to Carrots, or baby shampoos. Make sure they don’t contain sodium laureth sulfate or ammonium lauryl sulfate and any sulfate for that matter. This will help dull-looking hair by not stripping it of moisture, which is what sulfates do.

Do a apple cider vinegar rinse…two tablespoons in two cups of water. Slowly pour it over your hair after shampooing, combing it through with your fingers. Rinse well.

Make sure you condition your hair well with a nice moisturizing conditioner. If you have oily hair don’t apply to the roots.

Rinse with cold water after you’re done shampooing and conditioning. This will add shine and seal the cuticle.

ALWAYS use heat protection when straightening, and don’t straighten every day!

it depends on what kinda hair you have. like for me im black but I have like indian texture hair so its always frizzy too. but after I flat iron my hair I use oil sheen hair spray. maybe even olive oil sheen.

Answer #4

I know what you mean! I straighten my hair, but then its always kinda all frizzy on top, so I use a serum, which cuts back on the frizz.theres a few ways to get shiny hair

-after you finish washing your hair you can rinse your hair with cold water, that makes it nice and shiny.

-use a cotton towel to dry hair, it cuts back on frizz

-instead of rubbing conditioner all over hair, just put it on the roots and massage it in, then rinse. its more better if you want shiny hair, dont know why, it just is lol

-always always always use heat-protecting hair products for when you straighten or blowdry hair

its not very good advice, but hope I helped a bit :)
