How do I completely rid of excess files from uninstalled programs?
I got lime wire and stuff like that and I uninstall them but somehow they are not all gone….how do I get rid of excess files……..?
Hi, First, make sure you are uninstalling from the add/remove programs panel in Windows (Control Panel –> add/remove programs).
If the programs’ uninstallers are leaving extra files, there are free cleanup programs you can download. I haven’t used them so I can’t vouch for any of them, but here is a list I found.
