how do you get rid of bacne FAST. I need to get rid of mine. I have longish hair, and its always got product on it, so I get bacne. how do you get rid of it. I only have a little teeny bit right now, but its gross, and people notice it
Bacne is really annoying because it’s even harder to get rid of than acne on your face. The skin on your back and chest are tougher than the skin on your face – plus it’s harder to reach! You’ve started off right with scrubbing, but don’t rub too aggressively or you’ll just aggravate the blemishes even more. Use a washcloth and Neutrogena Body Clear Body Scrub [$6, drugstores] in the shower. Scrub your shoulders and lower back, then hold two ends of the washcloth, one end over your right shoulder, and the other end down by your left side. Move the washcloth back and forth across your back to get the middle really well, and switch sides. At night, apply a retinol cream all over your back. I like Skin Effects Renewing Effects Intensive Overnight Repair Cream by Dr. Jeffrey Dover [$20, CVS stores]. Even though retinol is typically for anti-aging, it works really well to exfoliate your skin and prevent breakouts in tough places. In the morning apply an oil-free sunscreen if your back is exposed – retinol makes the skin more sensitive to sun. Keep up this routine, and your back will be clearer in two weeks!
