How do you get past the fear?

I realize that for the most part I’m quite bit older then most of you, but as I went over a few of your questions it dawned on me that someone might be able to shine a little light on my problem. The question is this, What I would like to ask is, how do you get past the fear of being hurt by those who we let get to close? How do you get past the past without being angry or resentful? Is there something I missed in marriage 101?Now I know that some of you don’t have a clue to what I’m talking about , but for those that can , can you tell what I missed

I understand what you mean, even though im about 40 years younger, I’ve learned my lesson if you let fear get in the way of another chance of a relationship, then its doomed from the start fear causes paranoia, whether you recognize the feeling or not and so then your relationship will always make you feel edgy and scared of losing something so what you must do to get over the fear is realize that you got over your pain from the first time and that you MUST learn from what went wrong, or else the new start will be useless If this is about cheating or something close to your heart, then obviously something wasn’t right in the first place see what was wrong fix it, and begin again you must look at the past as a lesson, not a dark period of time I hope I helped:) good luck, its painful letting people get too close

You just have to simply to put in your past! Do you have old things that remind you of your past him/her? If so…get rid of it. The reason is, is when you look at thing that say, you did together it will remind you and it will make you angry and resentful. Take a night out to go to a nice bar or coffee shop and just meet people. In order to find someone to maby fall in love with someday you have to put yourself out there. You can not expect it just to come to you! Go out and have some fun!!! :) Good luck to you and I wish you all the best ;)
