Okay so my family from North Carolina came for Christmas and got me an ipod touch ...its been good for a while and today I accidentally drop it into a huge puddle of the rain...and I turned in on and now it has nothing that can be touch and I don't have insurance. . . so what can I do ...I put it in rice... but it still somewhat works but if I bring it to best buy could they...fix it even if I didnt buy it there?
Water damage isn't something insurance or warranty usually covers. Let it dry for a day or so without fiddling with it and then try to turn it on. I once dropped my Zune in a snow bank and it sat there for a few hours, I brought it in, it was wet, let it dry for a day and it still works to this day.
I don't know what kind of services are offered for iPod's. Check the web site or something. I don't think you could get it replaced, but I'm not sure.
So if it doesnt work what should I do?
