How do you find the product ??

(x + 3) (2x +3)

Or

(w-6) (4w^2+w-7)

Answer #1

well the anwser is… 2x^2+9x+9

umm heres a quick explaination

you multiple the terms from one of the groups with the other two so… x(2x+3) + 3(2x+3) =2x^2+3x + 6x+9 =2x^2+9x+9

you can do the same with the other equation the same way w(4w^2+w-7) + (-6)(4w^2+w-7) =4w^3 + w^2 - 7w - 24w^2 - 6w +42 =4w^3 - 23w^2 - 13w + 42

after a lot of practice you can just look at it and see a pattern and focus on the individual groups based on x^3, x^2, x and so on
