How do you clean your naval piercing?

So I bought a peircing kit for 20.00 and peirced my own belly button I had it done before but I took it out so I wanted to miss the scar and piericed it at an angle kinda, well I don’t think its infected but I kinda feel different latley kinda like passing out and just hungary all the freakin time, I have a dry throat and stuff but im not sure if its related to the peircing, I also didn’t clean the kit because it stated that it was thural and stuff, but im not sure if its infected I don’t think it is.. But how do I clean it really good I’ve been using dial soap and hand soap but im not sure. I also went swimming the very next day like not even 24 hours after, but my friends say that it would clean it. Im really thinking of taking it out.

Honestly you shouldn’t really of done it on your own. I know being younger and trying to get someone to bring you is hard, but doing it on your own is very very immature (I’ve been there, done that) But just keep a good eye on it. Try to get on some type of antibiotic. And clean it atleast twice a day with the salt water, make sure you use SEA SALT! Clean it in the shower, don’t play with it (don’t even TOUCH it unless your in the shower cleaning it) Ivory soap is very very very good for new piercings. I also suggest Bactin (you can find it in the First Aid isle of any kind of pharmacy) Just squit a little on whenever you want. That will keep it moist, and protected from infections. Make sure you don’t keep it wet, like swimming and shower will be fine but dry it well afterwards because wet areas breed infections.

If it gets worse you should get antibiotics, mine got infected really bad and antibiotics cleared it up perfectly.

DO NOT TAKE IT OUT! WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT TAKE IT OUT.

Boil some water, let it cool down, put it in a bowl, add 1/4 teaspoons of sea salt and mix the water and get a cotton ball and dip it in the warm sea salt water and hold it on it and clean it.

I cleaned mine witb warm salt water in a shot glass its wot the guy tells you to do after he pierces it
