How do you change your boyfriend and never yell to you again?

My boyfriend yelled at me all the time esp. if we were fighting, Now I dont know what kind of relationship we have now. He knew since from the start that I am a sensitive type. and for real? I really dont like someone yell at me esp my boyfriend. We talked a while ago, I expressed out my feelings towards him that I dont wanna feel this pain no more. I cried in front of him. But he told me that he gonna accept what is my decision is. I hope its easy to move on, but its hard… Because I love him. All I wanted is his changes. But He told me that it was his personality since when he was a child. and it was hard for him to change it. What I am going to do? I love my boyfriend but I dont wanna feel hurt all the time. We are planning to get married soon… Do you think is the best solution?

You cannot change someone. If they’ve refused to change, that is the end of it… You need to move on. You’re going to marry someone and live for the rest of your life with someone you’re always fighting with?

yes he was being nothing but truthful … this is the way he was raised

and it is especially hard for someone to change after they’ve been acting this way for a long period of time

I think you should find someone new

its hard for someone to change specially when hes had that personality since he was a child.he probably wont change,the best thing for you to do is not be in that relationship,because if your feeling upset then your relationship isnt really going anywhere.

hes already told you its his personality since he was a kid so has admitted he will not change, not even for you…

your best solution it to just get out the relationship… do you really want to be married to someone that upsets you ?

Honey, marriage isn’t an answer to a problem. It is a lifetime commitment to each other. Your sensitivity is a wonderful thing. Obviously you have a lot more to give than he deserves. He may be with you because your generous heart tolerates him.
