How do I stop having doubts about guys?

I’ve been hurt tons of times, so I have a hard time trusting guys.. I’ve been talking to a guy for a while and he’s really great, I like him so much.. but I still have this doubt, like he’s going to play me or hurt me. He hasn’t given any signs, but because of my past, I feel like it’s going to happen again.

Because of that, I’m not letting myself get too close to him..even though I want to. How do I get over it?

You let him do it for you :)

I think he still has to work with earning your trust and you’re in full position to be skeptical. Most guys put on this show that gives plenty of girls the notion that they’re Mr. Perfect but later on they take off the mask and things get hectic. I think in your case you can let him open up to you. That way you know he trusts you and you have an easier time trusting him. While he’s sharing his past experiences you can share yours and see where you both share similarities! I’m sure if he wants you to trust him he’ll find a way to get it :)

The thing to keep in mind is trust, you need to be able to trust him and to do that, the only way I can think of is him earning the trust. There’s plenty of other ways to learn how to trust someone and being open about your life is one of them :)

Well.. I have had the same problem. They best way I have done this is too just spend a lot of time with him. You will never stop having doubts about guys, but you have to try. After awhile of spending enough time with him, try it… if you get hurt then wait awhile till you don’t hurt much. Trust me, the right guy will come, it may just may take awhile.
