How do I really clean myself up?

Alright, so its Saturday night, and I haven’t showered since Wednesday night. Gross yes, but something happened about an hour after my shower that required an ER visit and that in turn required that I not be in the shower or eat hot food for several days (Sunday is tomorrow and maybe I can take one, thank goodness). Anyways, what I am asking here is how oh how do I get my hair clean? I do wash when I shower regular, but its never really clean. It doesn’t matter how long I do it or how I do it, its never ever clean. I want to get it clean at least this once so I can get it cut w/o it clearing the barber shop or ruining the clippers, its that bad. Any shampoo reccomendations/techniques? BTW I am a guy.

well what I do is take about a 50 cent coin size of shampoo and then rub it on my palms just for a econd or two then I scrub my hair around really hard, and if you have shorter hair then you can just scratch it alll over, but if you have longer hair like me then you scrub it but not so much to make tangle then you sweep it back like you doing a pony tail and wash it around while it is in like a pony tail with no actual pony tail in it, then when you wash it out run your fingers through it for 5 minutes and then when all of the shampoo is out put conditioner in it and do the same you did with the shampoo, then your hair will be nice and easy to run your fingers through and smooth so you run your fingers threw it unti its all out and then when I dry it I take my towel and wrap my hair into a fake pony tail and squeeze the water out all of it or it can get nasty, then I put some leave in conidtioner in it just running my fingers and hand through it from the front to the back and flip my hair over anad back up then I am all done and let it air dry.

There are some shampoos made specially for places like hospitals or nursing homes where people cant get into showers regularly. You dont need water. I dont know how well they work but if its the best option, its better than nothing.

If you can stand then maybe you can lean over the tub and shower your hair that way. Its easier if you have a removable shower head. Or even a sprayer at the kitchen sink.

If nothing else, you could ask someone to wash your hair for you. Its a long process and will probably make a big mess but it can be done with bowls of water and you leaned back in a chair.

just wash it with shampoo!.

Answer #4

is it oily? if it is, then stop using conditioner every time you wash it.

when you wash your hair you need to get the shampoo all through it. and make sure you wash it all out. when you conditioner it, you need to make sure all of that washes out too.

maybe get a harsher shampoo that really gets into your hair.
