How do I re plegeing for purity?

Well I am a 17 almost 18 and well I pledged purity about 3 months ago. An I have been really faithful to it but there was this one time. That my boyfriend and I are really falling in love. So he asked me if it as ok to foreplay so I said I don’t know he said it is really not sex so I said ok.and well my parents found out and well they took my ring. Till I want to re pledge and well it has been about 4 1/2 hours and I want to re pledge. So I was just wanting to know how I would do that well the people that got me my ring was two people for my church. But I don’t want to talk to them cause I feel I have let them down. And I would like to know how I may go about re pledging for my purity ring?

Why are you repledging… do you feel obligated too? are your parents forcing you too?… it all depends on these answers

Waiting 4 1/2 hours is NOT enough to be meaningful. A pledge like that is a sacred promise, that you have to consider as more important than ANYTHING at all. It’s not something you can just ignore when your boyfriend says he wants something and says it’s ok, and then 4 hours later you decide to be “pure” again. You have to really decide that this means something important to you and then stick with it, no matter what.

I don’t know how you can get it back. That’s really up to your parents or the people at the church who started the ring in the first place. You have to talk to them.
