How do I quit the job I started?

How do I quit a job I don’t want anymore. I have another so its no problem with that, but what do I say to the employer I want to quit?

Answer #1

The easiest way is to write it formally and deliver it formally (via company email or whatever is typical).

“This is to inform you I will be terminating employment on for personal reasons.”

You just have to do it. The alternative is to just not show up for work anymore, and it should be obvious that’s a bad idea.

Answer #2

my question will be, you are not planning to work there ever? if so give your two weeks notice and if possible! you can asked if the manager or supervisor or whoever needs you to be there until they find someone.

Answer #3

Give two weeks notice…you don’t owe an explaination…They may or may not ask, but it’s ok to tell them you found something that suits you better.

Answer #4

Just tell the employer that you want to give your two week’s notice. If they ask why, you can just tell them that it’s too much for you (you don’t need to say anything about having another job).
