How do I maintain my blonde highlights myself?
I went to cosmetology school so I am pretty familiar with coloring my own hair, however, I just went blonde for the first time ever and didn’t want to do it myself for the first time. So, I went to a salon and had my hair bleached for highlights (using a cap) and then they used toner on it. It turned out pretty well. My question is how do I maintain the highlights myself? Do I need to use a cap as well, or can I just do the root area like a normal color root-touchup? I’m a little rusty since I graduated cosmo school about 15 years ago, but didn’t enter into the field. I do color and cut lots of friends hair though, but never bleached. Thanks!!
do not use root touch up lol it will look like you have stripes lol… I use a cap and I reccomend the revlon frosting kit…its only 10 dollars and you can get it at walgreens target walmart etc and it works super good
