How do I get a job, im 13!?
I am 13 and I want to get a job. I already know what I allowed to do - walk dog, grocery store, newspaper rounds - but I dont know how to get a job. What should I do? The internet gives me no help when it comes to how I can get a job!
Step one: Apply for the position.
Step two: If you don’t know how to apply, ASK the people who posted the job (aka, the “need help with walking dog” job announcement).
Step three: Get your references in order… Most jobs won’t require a resume such as those, but they will require references, your parents are ok, but other responsible adults would be even better (as your family is biased).
Step four: Tell them about how you’ll show up on time, work hard and how responsible you can be (specific examples are a must).

you could also do like me because im 13 to and rake leaves in winter and be a lifeguard in training the summer.And if that doesnt work you could be a litter pick-up manager or watch patrol.I lve in savannah tennessee and I have a mollie mondays here and you can get a job there when your 13 but other than that place I don’t know.we dont get a lot of snow here but im sure you do wgere ever you live but this winter we got plenty of snow and days off from school so you could walk dogs or push snow off someones driveway for them for a permenant job but thats your choice katlyn hawkins
