How do I get a body like the girls in the music videos?

I’m not fat; I fluctuate between about 127-133 pounds, but I would kill for a tight, toned body. But I don’t know where to start. I know I need to burn the fat before anything else, but other than the basic cardio (running) I don’t know what to do to get the fat off. I’m willing to work out around my schedule and try just about anything.

I NEED ADVICE. If there’s something that’s worked for you, PLEASE SHARE!

How long will it take to lose the weight? What are some exercises I should do to TONE everything? (I want to tone my butt, thighs, abs…) *Will this help me lose the appearance of cellulite?

If you like to dance, definitely take a dance class. It burns a lot of calories but is also fun at the same time. If you have time in your schedule.. sign up for a gym and maybe they have kickboxing class which is good for toning your whole body and self-defense. Me personally, I run whenever I can and I do crunches. Put your hands behind your head and cross your feet the the ankles and crunch just enough to get your shoulder blades off the floor. For your obliques, both hands behind your head and make your right elbow touch the left knee and left elbow touch the right knee. The only downfall of classic situps and crunches is that people don’t see results right from the get-go. But if you persist and eat help and exercise regularly.. you will see results within 2 weeks and yes it will make the cellulite go away. Good luck.

I got really toned at one stage but I just about killed myself at the gym in order to do it. I would go there morning and night and my muscles were always aching. I was pushing myself way too hard with running, weights, sit-ups, swimming - basically every excersise I could fit in to my days. Yea I looked good but it wasn’t worth it. Try not to look at celebrities bodies as an aim for yourself - they have plenty of time and heaps of money to pay people to get them looking as good as they do. Often it’s not realistic or healthy for normal people like us to try to aim for the same look.

However, since it sounds like you really want to do this, my only advice is as follows:

  • Eat small regular meals. This keeps your metabolism going strong which means your body is more efficient at burning fat. Rather than eating 3 regular meals in a day, eat 6 small ones.

-When you are running, try to sprint in between jogging. eg: jog for 10 minutes then sprint for 5minutes then jog for 10 and so on. This will speed up your body burning fat. It worked for me. It doesn’t have to be running - if you are on an excersise bike or cross trainer then apply the same principle. Go at a steady pace to start then go really fast for a few minutes then slow down then speed up again. Trust me, it works.
