How do I fix a haircolor disaster?

I have light brown/dark blond hair and had grown blond highlights out about 4 to 5 inches. I went to a salon and had them put color on my hair to match my natural regrowth. Apparantly the girl used a 8N color but put me under the dryer. Apparantly this color is not supposed to go under the dryer and I ended up with a pumpkin orange/yellow haircolor. It had even bleached out my natural color. They did an attempted correction with a darker brown but it is still very orange based. HELP! Now what!

Hell, they messed with it at the hairdresser shop. They are supposed to be the experts about hair and coloring stuff. If it’s really that disasterous, tell them to either fix it - with no additional cost for you - or threaten you’ll get a lawyer/ complain to their boss/ write something bad about their shop on the interwebz/ get psycho-depressed about it and then go to a lawyer/ whatever.

Other than that, you can only put darker color on top of the orange. Dye it dark brown or black. But I’d try making the hairdresser fix it.
