How do I find out if this guy is joking or serious??

The other day at school my best friend and I were looking at prom dresses, there are these 2 super hot guys in our class that have started talking to us, they saw us looking at the dresses, came up behing us and started messing around trying to grab our boobs and being silly…we all 4 started talking about prom and the 2 guys said they would be our dates, then said instead of renting the hotel after they would rent it all day that way we could go before, during, and after…we just laughed but I said, “you go to prom? Dressing up? Taking pics? The whole 9 yards?” and he said yes…me and my bestfriend really want to go wit these 2 guys but we both are afraid to ask…were they joking? Or serious? Or what? I mean the guy said he would like to go to prom..the 2 are freshmen, they are both 16 just like me and my friend who are juniors…what do we do??!! Prom is april 24th!!!

To me it sounds like he just wants to take you to prom just to have sex with you. I think you should sit down and talk to him about what he said and tell him how you feel.

You can always ask their friends friends, or just have some of your friends to ask them

just ask them like so…how about that prom or something and see what they say I don’t know I’ve never really had this kind of problem that I can think of
