How do I do this math stuff?

“We call a function F an ‘even function’ if, for any number X in the domain of F, -X is also in the domain and F(-X) = F(X). “Suppose F is an even function and the point (3,5) is on the graph of F. What other point do you know must be on the graph of F? Explain.”

‘F’ and ‘X’ are supposed to be italicized.

I have math how that I have NO idea how to do. Can you help me out?

Answer #1

I am clueless on that. Been taught it so many times :) x

Answer #2

Well, I do not really understand your question because it is not specifically a question and I do not want to answer the wrong thing. I know this math, I just had a test on it. I attend a gifted school so I am advanced. F(x) is Y. why on the grid. if you are trying to find M the formula is y2 - y1 over x2 - x1. Then you simplify if possible then add XT after it and find the point on the graph that hits the why Axis. So let us say the Answer is( 5/3 X T 6.
