How do I delete my browsing history properly?? Please help !?

Ok so I always delete my browsing history when im finished on my laptop because my sister is the nosiest person ever!!… I go into tools and click clear history… but well anyway the other day I lent her my laptop and she was able to view my history from weeks and weeks ago that I know I deleted…How did she do that?? and how do I delete my history properly so she cant do it again ?? Please help !! Xo:)

See where there is file, edit, view, history, bookmarks, tools, and help? Go to tools, and click Clear Private Data. There you can check off what you want to delete. Also, you can create your own account on the computer with a password, so your sister can’t see what you are doing.

firefox as above (ctrl+shift+delete) but select ‘time range to clear’ Everything

ie is just the same: open ie and press (ctrl+shift+delete) and select everything click ok and your done

or you can start private browsing which will auto delete everything once the browser is closed:

in firefox: tools - start private browsing or ctrl+shift+p

in ie, just the same shortcut as firefox ctrl+shift+p
